Clinical Nurse Manager
Manage clinical staff and resources, ensure safe and effective professional quality care is provided to all facility residents.

Location: Radius Thornleigh Park, 25 Heta Rd, Highlands Park, New Plymouth 4312
Hours of work: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About the role:
Lead the facility’s clinical team, inspire and motivate the team to uphold our excellent standards. Ensure all clinical staff receive adequate orientation and ongoing training to maintain a safe environment for residents. Ensure standards of care meet the requirements of Health & Disability Sector Standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing orientation and self-directed learning packages to new staff.
- Ensuring new employee documentation and checklists are completed.
- Professionally maintaining database and waiting list, ensuring high levels of consumer contact.
- Completion of reporting requirements and clinical manager's orientation checklist
- Ensuring clinical staff are trained and aware of clinical risks, and reporting procedures are followed
- Ensures that rosters are designed to reflect optimal utilisation of staffing and resources

What we're looking for:
- 3+ years previous aged care experience preferred
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, e.g. Registered General Nurse
- Experience in clinical or management in a continuing care hospital facility
- Management and administration skills
- People skills, with empathy for the elderly and their families
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
