About the role:
As a Clinical Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, resident-focused care. You’ll work hands-on on the floor, providing direct care and clinical oversight, while also mentoring and coaching other Registered Nurses to grow their skills and confidence. You’ll lead by example, support and develop clinical staff, and ensure compliance with health and disability standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership position where your clinical expertise and people skills will make a real difference.
What you'll be doing
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documents
Work on the floor to deliver and oversee resident care
Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to nursing and care staff
Ensure best practice care is delivered consistently
Manage risk, quality, and compliance with sector standard
Oversee infection control, wound care, and medication management
Coordinate with GPs, pharmacies, and allied health professionals
Lead audits, care planning, and staff development initiatives

Skills and Experience:
Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience in aged care or another relevant clinical setting
Strong clinical judgement and assessment skills
Confidence in supporting and coaching other Registered Nurses
Comfortable in a hands-on clinical role
Good computer skills with clear and concise documentation
Strong people skills and genuine empathy for residents and families
