Radius Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the delivery of exceptional clinical care at Radius Karori, our recently acquired care home in Wellington.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a well-established 90-bed care home providing Rest Home, Hospital and Dementia care. Working alongside an experienced Care Home Manager and supported by our National Quality team, you'll play a key role in strengthening clinical excellence, supporting staff development, and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care.

About the role:

As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide clinical leadership across the care home while fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

You'll lead and support the nursing team, oversee clinical governance and compliance, maintain audit readiness, and build trusted relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and ensure best practice standards are consistently delivered.

• Manage and support nursing staff through education, mentoring, and performance reviews.

• Ensure quality and compliance with Health & Disability Sector Standards and Radius policies.

• Prepare for and support internal and external audits to maintain certification standards.

• Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external health professionals.

• Oversee health and safety practices, ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff.

About you:

You'll be an experienced clinical leader who combines strong nursing expertise with a genuine passion for aged care and developing others.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APC)

• Minimum 5 years' experience in aged care

• Previous leadership or management experience in a clinical environment

• InterRAI training and experience

• Sound knowledge of clinical governance, quality systems and audit requirements

• Strong people leadership, coaching and performance management skills

• Confidence using electronic health records, clinical systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• A compassionate and resident-focused approach to care
