Hours of work: Casual on-call (confirmed prior to each assignment)

About the role:

As a Registered Nurse for R-Connect, you will be deployed to complete temporary assignments across various aged care facilities in the region.

As this is a casual role, you will be prompted when a temp vacancy is available, and you can accept based on your availability.

• You need to be a New Zealand Citizen/Resident, or have open work conditions.

• You must have a current NZ Driver's License.

Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for casual RNs.

Duties include:

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documents

• Educate and direct peers about possible side-effects of medicines

• Monitor residents and initiate appropriate treatment in an emergency

• Wound management

• Reassuring and educating residents’ families

Skills and Experience:

• Current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate

• Computer literacy with concise reporting skills

• People skills + empathy for our residents and their families

• Flexibility to work rostered shifts

• 1+ years of experience as a registered nurse in NZ preferred but not essential
