About the role:

Ensure the facility is ship-shape, clean and hygienic. Provide an efficient, effective cleaning service. Assist with sorting, washing, drying and folding, and ensure that our residential aged care facility residents receive their clean, folded clothes in a timely manner.

Help create a comfortable, healthy environment for residents, while considering their wellbeing and individual needs.

Duties include:

• Cleaning resident and communal areas

• Utilising appropriate infection control measures

• Restocking paper products, personal protective equipment (PPE), personal hygiene items

• Assisting with all laundry processing, i.e. sorting, washing to correct cycle, drying and folding

• Following the laundry task list per facility policy

• Ensuring that all tasks and check lists are completed and signed-off
