About the role:

Assist the care home manager with maintenance of the continuous quality improvement programme, ensuring the care home is compliant with Health and Disability Safety Standard 8134.2008

Duties include:

• Assist with scheduling and running quality assurance meetings

• Responsibility for Internal Audit Programme and appropriate delegation of internal audits

• Review and analyze completed internal audits

• Develop corrective action plans and implement these in consultation with the care home manager

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in all work areas

• Participate in staff meetings and committees as required

Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge and enthusiasm for quality improvement measures

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to act as a resource person for implementing quality improvement activities

• Displays professionalism, integrity, and honesty at all times
